From the printing press to the Internet and to Smartphones, technology has been used to help believers grow in faith. This Carmel explores how AI can help us grow in our every day lives.

In a world where machines can simulate insight and wisdom, believers need clarity about what makes them uniquely human and how to protect and deepen that dignity in their daily spiritual lives while engaging with AI, without compromising their spiritual identity.

If millions of believers learn to engage AI thoughtfully, they may deepen their understanding of theology and scripture while strengthening their awareness of what makes them uniquely human. By using AI as a support for prayer, reflection, and study - rather than a substitute for conscience, freedom, or relationship - they affirm that the human person is more than output, efficiency, or optimization. In doing so, they protect and elevate human dignity, remembering that each person is a moral, relational, and spiritual being created with inherent worth. Rather than outsourcing faith, this approach strengthens human responsibility and honors the sacred depth of the human person.
